From Vision to Reality

Our Success Story

2Sync's journey started in 2018 as a research project at the renowned Hasso Plattner Institute. Fueled by the costly, time-consuming manual processes of bringing virtual experiences into real environments, we aimed to automate and make immersive Mixed Reality accessible to everyone. This led to the creation of what we today call 2Sync SDK, continuously evolving over years.

The founders of 2Sync, with their blend of technical and business expertise, crossed paths in 2021 at a barbecue. This marked the beginning of a exciting journey for us and the Mixed Reality community. Our first tech demo captivated over 27,000 users, marking the start of an extraordinary journey.

Today, the 2Sync team is located in our office at Potsdam Griebnitzsee, just at the gates of Berlin. With global projects, strong partnerships, and a growing customer base, we continue to be driven by our passion to transform various industries and sectors with our auto-adaptive Mixed Reality technology.

Meet the Founders

Moritz Loos

Moritz Loos, the technical mastermind behind 2Sync, spearheaded the MVP at the Hasso Plattner Institute in 2018. With a Master's in Computer Science and over a decade of experience in XR, Moritz combines deep expertise with his spirit of innovation. His career journey, including a role as a Software Engineer at Mercedes Benz and diverse international stays, has been pivotal in shaping 2Sync.

Julian Zietemann

Julian Zietemann, guiding the business side of 2Sync since 2021, brings a fusion of strategic insight and technological passion. With a Master's in Business Informatics and Digital Transformation, he excels in blending technology with strategy and creativity. Julian has a extensive background as an IT Management Consultant at Accenture Tech Strategy, coupled with his skills as a certified project manager and design thinker.
